As Vita continues to grow in its commitment to implementing climate smart solutions to global inequality, we are delighted to announce a new addition to our Dublin team! Introducing Holly, our new Communications and Fundraising Officer.
Holly joins Ciara on the Communications and Fundraising team and will be working exceptionally hard over the coming months to help raise awareness about the need and funding for climate action on global, national and individual levels.
A graduate of the Fitzwilliam Institute, Holly holds a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations with Event Management, as well as a first class honours degree in English and French from NUI Galway. She has previously volunteered as an Education Coordinator in the now disbanded Dunkirk refugee camp and has worked in sea turtle protection and refugee aid in Greece.
An avid fan of potatoes (she would happily – and has happily – eaten them for three meals a day) Holly is delighted to be working with an organisation that champions the humble power of the ever-nutritious spud. She’s hoping it won’t be long before she gets to see our improved potato crop programmes in action.
Here is Holly spreading the good word of marine conservation with a giant turtle on her back!
